When you want a quite and very cozy place to dine, warm hearted people and great food, this is your place! The wine was exceptionall! Even though eating Italian food on a Greek island sounds odd at first sight, Il Casta is here to change your mind. Must-go on Hydra!!

Tip: book a table in advance. Understandably a popular restaurant with some of the best Italian dishes we’ve had. Diverse menu choices for all. Quaint and cute atmosphere with attentive service. Prices are very reasonable too. If you like and appreciate this review please give it a like or a thumbs up so that I know what content to include in future reviews.

What an amazing Italian restaurant, I had probably the best ravioli I’ve ever had, my husband had the prime beef fillet which was again so tasty, I also had muscles to start so tasty. It lived upto its expectations, will surely be going again.

The pasta would be excellent even if were in the heart of Italy. And the chef-owner and staff are truly delightful. And a uniquely compelling vibe to boot. Totally recommended if you can get a table.

We had dinner there 3 night ago and have to say this is a real gem in the back streets of Hydra port. The best Authentic Italian I have had for many years. The owners are Italian and make their own pasta. While the dishes are small the taste and quality more than makes up for it I am glad we went in May as booking a table in mid summer must be a nightmare A great spot not to be missed Can I give 6 stars only!!!

We were early, so they were able to fit us in without a reservation, but I highly recommend a reservation. All the pasta is hand made and the food was just amazing. It was excellent and the best house white I had during our trip. The service was excellent and it was clear that Pietro and his team care deeply about the product they deliver to their customers. Since we didn't want to overstay our time given they fit us in before their other reservations arrived, we didn't have dessert, but I would bet $ that it would be fantastic. Every dish we had, the appetizers, the mains and the desserts, was delicious. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to, and it just so happens to be on a little Greek island. The atmosphere and service were also excellent.

Just WOW! I have to be honest… I’m not the biggest fan of Italian kitchen but what we ate at “Il Casta” was just crazy good! Also not to forget… the restaurant itself has such a beautiful vibe, size and look that u feel cozy right away and the staff… they were sooo friendly and delivered a quick professional service! Absolutely amazing! The swordfish is fantastic! It's a restaurant for enjoying company and chilling with a drink. The pace is slower than a usual restaurant on the mainland. Also you have to book in advance, we were lucky that we went a little early (7pm) so we sat outside of the restaurant.

Very good food. We had the cozze and bruschetta for starters. Tina, ravioli and pasta saffraan after. Delicious. Perfect taste. Very nice terras outside. Service was okay but no good.

One of the best restaurants in Hydra. A must visit for some Italian taste, their tiramisu is a must try. The staff are friendly but the service is a slow.
Fantastic Italian with wonderful service. Really lovely spot hidden away from the tourist crowd. Fresh pasta cooked absolutely perfectly - the perfect night!
